Pardon my Extended Pause

So how do I begin to catch you up on a year of my life that has just slipped right by without one single measly post?  So much to tell.  It's been a rough one, which is why I've let the blog go untouched.  It's been a year of learning about priorities in new ways.  I'd love to promise I'll be back regularly, but I'm not quite in a position to do that just yet.  So how about I chip away and showing you what's new one snippet at a time, and we'll reunite that way?  Like old friends sneaking around and stalking each other on Facebook, and then one of us gets up the nerve to post a comment on your picture.  And just like that, we rekindle our kindred spirits.  Shall we?
